Description
Villa Las Palomas is located in the prestigious Parador neighbourhood in the beautiful Andalucian town of Nerja only 10 minutes away from the famous Burriana beach.
The villa is is built over two floors. The ground floor (accessed by 10 steps) offers an entrance hall leading to a spacious lounge/dining area, fully fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc) and a toilet. From the lounge and diner there are French windows opening onto a covered porch, ideal for outdoor dining, the private swimming pool (6.5m x 3.5m & 1m - 1.55m depths), 6 sun beds, pool table and table tennis table situated in the terrace area.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms - two twin bedded rooms sharing a full bathroom and a master king-size bedroom with ensuite facilities. Both bathrooms have baths with overhead showers and marble wash basin surrounds. From one of the twin bedrooms and the master bedroom patio doors open onto a terrace overlooking the pool area.
This property is ideal for families and groups as it sleeps 6 people
More facilities of the house not mentioned above include - fridge freezer, washing machine, electric hob and oven, toaster etc- aircon with cooling and heating system - safe - TV with international channels - Wifi - portable BBQ, private medium size parking space.

There needs to be more storage in the bedrooms, maybe like a set of drawers and a mirror in each room too. The villa just looked a little tired and in need of updating. The pool wasn’t very clean and nobody came to check it apart from once. There wersee more

I didn’t like that the cleaner came in without us knowing and scared my son by not saying anything. It says these things are communicated.

Equipment at the villa should be checked regularly because two of the sunbeds at our villa were broken, the toaster did not work and one of the kitchen blinds could not be opened. Also the pool cues had no tips on them so it was hard to play pool onsee more

Garage door very hard to open, room for only a very small car. A small table in the kitchen under the wall outlet. The toaster could go there to free up counter space. could use instructions for the stove for those unfamiliar with the make.

We have stayed at this villa on 3 occasions. The location is fantastic for us and close to everything we need whilst in Nerja. It has a great pool and 3 good bedrooms. The bedding was spotless and the rooms lovely and clean. The villa is tastefully dsee more
We have stayed at this villa on 3 occasions. The location is fantastic for us and close to everything we need whilst in Nerja. It has a great pool and 3 good bedrooms. The bedding was spotless and the rooms lovely and clean. The villa is tastefully decorated. I would suggest however nothing has really changed in all the years at the villa in terms of decor and fittings etc so things need updating and some attention. The price of course has risen approx £400 in 3 years. Overall though it's a nice villa and we always enjoy staying in it. We love Nerja. We'll be back !

2 of the pool sunbeds were not fully functional, possibly need replacing. AC in one of the bedrooms was temperamental and the living room AC remote control didn't work . I would use this company again. |

The location is perfect, close to everything, beach, supermarket and restaurants and still a quiet area. Las Palomas is a nice three bedroom house with swimming pool at the edge of downtown Nerja. Beaches, shops and restaurants are all at walking distance .

The villa was spacious enough for our company of four, with a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and possibilities for sunbathing on the balcony and on the terrace around the pool. In February the pool itself was too cold to use, but it looked nice for warmer months. The house was kept very clean, a compliment for the staff. There is a possibility to park a car on the property itself, but that’s a small place and our SUV did not fit there. Therefore we had to park in the street and that is not easy! Sometimes the car was parked two blocks away, but honestly, that was the only inconvenience in our stay. I would recommend this villa to anyone spending a holiday in Nerja. |
