Villa Cataleya is a stylish 5-bedroom villa in a fabulous location at the entrance to the whitewashed village of Frigiliana - just a 10-minute walk. Nerja's beaches are a 10-minute drive away. The villa has a private pool and offers stunning views of both the sea and surrounding mountains and countryside.

The villa is spread over three levels - you enter via an impressive entrance hall at the lower ground level from the private parking area which leads up to the upper ground floor. Here you will find one twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom, the modern separate kitchen and open plan living and dining room. From here there are large French windows out to the covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden - ideal for al fresco dining whilst taking in the stunning views. Up on the first floor there are two Kingsize double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom - and one twin bedroom. There is also a further shared shower room.

Villa Cataleya is an ideal place to spend your holidays with your family and is also ideal for two families traveling together.

Facilities include a fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, washing machine, safe, free wifi, TV with international channels, air-conditioning in all rooms. The villa has private off-street parking which will fit two cars, a private pool (6.75m x 3.85m and 1 - 1.5 m depth), barbecue, outside furniture and 10 sunbeds.

All rentals include bed linen and towels which are changed weekly for stays over 10 nights. End of stay cleaning is also included. We have a range of optional services available at an additional cost and subject to availability - including welcome food packs, cots, highchairs, beach towels, additional housekeeping, taxi transfers and pets (on request) ...

The local caves – Cueva de Nerja – and the neighbouring hillside “Pueblo Blanco”, Frigiliana, are incredible must-sees during your stay. Further afield but within easy reach there are waterparks, aquariums, zoos, golf courses, the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain range with fabulous skiing over the winter months and the beautiful Andalusian cities of Málaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Nerja has a great network of public transport – or you can hire a car to discover the area at your own pace.

The villa was perfect for our annual getaway of 6 women friends. The villa was beautiful, the photographs didn’t do it justice. It was spacious, comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. We Particularly enjoyed the outside area with the lovely pool.
We had great communication with the company and they organised our transfers to and from the airport and they allowed a slightly later checkout which was appreciated.

Picky things only - some dish towels would have been useful as well as more dishwasher tablets . This certainly did not detract from our enjoyment.

A fabulous villa

We are an extended family of 11 and the villa was perfect. The views of the sea and mountains was breathtaking and the villa itself very spacious.
The pool was larger than expected and we spent much of our time swimming, playing games-there are some inflatables- and relaxing.
The gate from the veranda was welcome with a 3 and 4 year old in our group.
We loved the restaurant Pura Cepa in Frigiliana.

We had read in a previous review no table tennis equipment so we took our own but there still is none provided.
Worth being aware that the taxi situation in the daytime is pretty dire. And the bus to Nerja approximately every 2 hours. We wish we’d hired a small car for supermarket shopping etc.
There are small supermarkets in Frigiliana which are walkable.

Just to comment regarding the table tennis. We always provide the relevant equipment- obviously sometimes bats break and balls disappear but we are very quick to respond in this case and bring up. Sometimes they are placed out of view but always there.

Stunning villa in a great location

The villa is much more spacious than expected and has the most beautiful views. A 10 min walk into the centre of Frigiliana and Nerja is only a 10 min car/bus journey away.

There was quite an unpleasant drain smell in all of the bathrooms. We reported it and it was slightly better after someone came to look but it was still there. It would be good to have some washing machine powder provided to allow us to wash tea tow

Had a great stay at the villa. The pool area was excellent complete with rare grass area. Arrived in motorhome so equally pleased that the private parking area satisfied the van complete with secure iron gate. Nerja rentals were very thoughtful providing a bottle of wine and welcome pack with few essentials. Also received email to inform of local festival. Most informative and helpful. Definitely recommend

The Villa is very spacious with lots of room to socialise. Its only a ten minute walk into the centre of Frigiliana which is a great place to visit and is a very traditional whitewashed Spanish Village. The only little concern is that the water pressure in the shower is not great and it does takes a while for warm water to come through. The pool table does require replacing as it appears to be very old. There was also no equipment to use the table tennis. This wasn't a problem for us but it maybe for families wanting to stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Es una casa grande y espaciosa, con todas las comodidades y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días tranquilos y agradables.
Con el fin de mejorar las condiciones de la vivienda, sí recomendaría que hubiera otro frigorífico aunque fuera para bebidas. Se trata de una vivienda pensada para unos diez huéspedes y a mi entender con el que tiene se queda un poco corto.
Por lo demás, tanto la casa como el entorno y las vistas maravillosas.
La empresa que la gestiona funciona muy bien y están siempre a tu disposición para lo que necesites.
Repetiremos!!!

Nos encanto la casa y la disfrutamos los 10 amigos que estuvimos alli. Un salon de lujo con vistas al jardin y la piscina y grandes ventanales con vistas a Frigiliana y a Nerja hacian perfecta nuestra estancia en la casa.El personal estuvo atento a nuestras peticiones.
Lo que si echa,os de menis es un cuarto de baño mas em el piso de adeiba ya que el baño comunitario era pequeño y se nos hacia algo justo para comoartirlo 6 personas. Por lo demas, estuvimos muy comodos y el personal estuvo muy oe diente de nosotros y de que estuvieramos comodos. Si. duda repetiria en esta propiedad y lo recomendaria tambien.

Estuvimos en la Villa la semana pasada. Un grupo de 10 amigos. La villa es una maravilla, preciosa , unas vistas increíblemente bonitas , grande , espaciosa y con mucha luz. La zona de la piscina otra maravilla.
Por ponerle alguna pega diría que los utensilios de cocina , sobre todo ollas y sartenes , son pocos y pequeños para 10 personas , pedimos una olla grande y no iba para inducción. Las sartenes pequeñas y la mitad tampoco funcionan en inducción. Los baños hay que compartirlos y 3 para 11 se quedan muy cortos.
El trato con el personal que nos atendía al teléfono fue de 10
En general la valoración Excelente
Si volvemos por esa zona , sin dudar volvería
